Krobr Marketplace is live at marketplace.krobr.com.
Until now, every Krobr store has had its own storefront and its own link. That works beautifully for customers who already know a store. But what about the shopper who wants a good biryani tonight and does not know where to start? Or the person looking for a gift from a local shop rather than a big chain?
The marketplace is our answer. It is one place where shoppers can discover restaurants and shops from across Krobr, browse what they sell, and order directly from them.
This post explains what the marketplace offers shoppers, what it means for store owners, and how listing works.
What shoppers can do
Browse products and stores
The marketplace has two views. Products shows individual items from many stores, such as a chicken tikka pizza, a lawn suit or a box of cupcakes. Stores shows the restaurants and shops themselves. Shoppers can switch between the two depending on whether they know what they want or just want to explore.
Find what is near them
When a shopper arrives, the marketplace asks where they want their order delivered: country, city and, optionally, an area. Results then focus on stores that deliver there. Someone in Karachi sees stores that serve Karachi, and someone in Lahore sees stores that serve Lahore.
Filter and search
Shoppers can narrow the list in several ways:
- Type of store, restaurant or shop.
- Location, by city and area.
- How they want to order or pay, such as cash on delivery, bank transfer, pickup, dine-in or reservations.
- Open now, to see only stores that can take an order right away.
- Price range, when browsing within one country.
- Rating, to see only stores above a chosen rating.
- Search, by product or store name.
They can also sort results, for example by newest, by price or by top rated. Stores that are open right now appear first, so shoppers are not disappointed by a store that cannot take their order.
One cart across stores
A shopper can add items from more than one store to a single marketplace cart. When they are ready, they continue to each store's own checkout to place that store's order. Signed-in shoppers keep their cart across devices.
Save favourites and track orders
A heart on each card lets shoppers save products and stores they like for later. The Orders tab keeps track of orders placed through the marketplace, with each order's status link, so shoppers can follow along.
Use it like an app
The marketplace can be installed on a phone like an app, with a bottom tab bar for Explore, Saved, Cart and Orders. The marketplace shopping guide walks through it step by step.
What it means for store owners
New customers who did not know you
Most small stores grow through word of mouth, WhatsApp groups and Instagram. Those channels are powerful, but they mostly reach people who already know you or your friends. The marketplace puts your store in front of shoppers who are actively looking for something to order.
The order still comes to you
This is the part we care about most. The marketplace does not take orders itself, set prices or change your checkout. When a shopper chooses your item, they continue to your own storefront and place the order through your normal checkout. Your prices, your delivery areas and your payment options, such as cash on delivery or bank transfer, all stay exactly as you set them.
The order appears in your Krobr Partner orders queue like any other order, and the customer gets their usual private status link.
No commission
Krobr charges a package fee, not a commission per order. That does not change on the marketplace. An order that comes from a marketplace shopper is your order, at your price.
Good service gets rewarded
Store ratings appear on marketplace cards, and shoppers can filter and sort by rating. How stores are ordered in the default view also takes into account signals such as ratings, recent completed orders and how reliably a store fulfils its orders. In plain terms, stores that serve customers well tend to be easier to find.

How listing works
Who can be listed
Restaurants and shops can be listed. Being listed needs a paid package. Free stores are not listed on the marketplace. You can compare packages on the pricing page.
Turning it on
You control your listing from your store Settings in Krobr Partner. Turn on the marketplace listing, and Settings shows whether your store is listed. If it is not, it tells you what to fix.
A few things need to be in place for a store to appear:
- The store is online and accepting orders.
- Delivery coverage is set, so the marketplace knows where you deliver.
- At least one product or menu item is visible, in stock and has a fixed price.
Sold-out and hidden items do not appear on the marketplace. Closed or paused stores can still be listed, but they show after stores that are open. The marketplace listing guide explains each step.
Keeping your listing healthy
Once you are listed, the everyday basics matter more than ever:
- Keep your opening hours accurate.
- Snooze items when they sell out, so shoppers only see what you can deliver.
- Use clear product names and good photos.
- Confirm orders quickly and reply to reviews.
Your own link still matters
The marketplace does not replace your own store link. It works alongside it. Your link is what you share with regulars on WhatsApp, in your Instagram bio and on QR posters. The marketplace brings new people in. When those new customers have a good experience, many will come back directly.
We wrote more about this in your own store link and a marketplace listing.
A worked example
Imagine a small cake shop in Islamabad with a loyal following from family and neighbours. The owner moves to a paid package, turns on her listing and checks that her delivery areas are set. A few days later, a shopper in a nearby area filters for shops, opens now, and sees her cakes. The shopper orders a birthday cake, pays cash on delivery and tracks it with the status link.
The cake arrives on time. The shopper leaves a five star review and saves the store. Next month, they order again, this time straight from the owner's own link.
The details here are made up, but that is the kind of loop the marketplace is designed to start.
In short
Krobr Marketplace gives shoppers one place to discover local restaurants and shops, filter by what matters to them, and order directly from each store. For owners, it is a new source of customers that keeps every order on your own storefront, at your own price, with no commission. If your store is on a paid package, you can turn on your listing from Settings in Krobr Partner.
